Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 10, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how Pvalyou Ltd. (“Pvalyou”, “we", “our”, "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with our website (“Website”), applications and platform(s) (together: “Services”) and any other services owned or operated by Pvalyou which link to this Policy.

Our collection and processing of personal information is carried out in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (the “Protection of Privacy Law”) and any other legal and regulatory provisions that apply to us.

This Policy applies to personal information we collect while you browse our website or if you are a User of our Services such as our application “Val”.

You” or “User” means any person who uses our Services independently or uses through employment or on behalf of a business or organization for commercial purposes (“Enterprise Customer”) of our platforms and Services, and including any person who browses or uses our Website. Each User of our platforms, whether as a personal account or on behalf of an Enterprise Customer will need to create an account to use the platforms. Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding the information we collect and how we will treat it. If you do not agree to this Policy, do not browse our website or use any of our platforms and Services.

Certain data protection laws and regulations, such as the GDPR or the CCPA, typically distinguish between two main roles for parties processing personal data: the "controller" (or the "business" under the CCPA), which determines the purposes and means of processing; and the "data processor" (or the "service provider" under the CCPA), which processes the data on behalf of the controller. Below we explain how these roles apply to our Services, to the extent that such laws and regulations apply.

Pvalyou acts as a “data controller" (or Business) of Users’ personal information and assumes the responsibilities of a “data controller” (solely to the extent applicable under the law), as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

If your personal information is uploaded to our platform/s by and on behalf of an Enterprise Customer or a User (“Enterprise Customer’s or User’s Data Subject”), such as when documents that are uploaded to the “Val” platform contain personal information - then Pvalyou acts as a “data processor" with regard to such personal information. In such instances, our Enterprise Customer or the User that shared your personal information with our platform shall be deemed as the "data controller" of such personal information, and Pvalyou will process such personal information on the Enterprise Customer or the User's behalf, as its "data processor", in accordance with its reasonable instructions, and the commercial and data processing agreements executed between Pvalyou and the Enterprise Customer (as applicable). Pvalyou’s Enterprise Customers will be responsible for meeting any legal requirements applicable to controllers (such as establishing the appropriate lawful basis for processing). The Enterprise Customer, as the controller of personal information of Enterprise Customer’s Data Subjects on the Pvalyou platform, is responsible for maintaining the privacy of such Personal Information.  Pvalyou is not responsible for disclosures of information made by Enterprise Customers and Users through their accounts on the platform.

If you, an Enterprise Customer’s Data Subject, are concerned about your personal information provided by Enterprise Customer, you should address requests and inquiries relating to your Personal Information directly to that Enterprise Customer. If you contact us regarding information associated with an Enterprise Customer’s account, we may forward your requests or inquiries to the relevant Enterprise Customer.

If you do not agree to the terms of this privacy policy, you are asked to refrain from visiting our Websites and using our Services.
